A Joe Satriani tribute band. Not really my cup-o-tea these days but they hit every note and were technically right on. A Satriani fan would have really liked this performance and should definitely check them out. There were a few jack-asses in the audience who were screaming out things like “you suck” and “boooring” but I felt they did Satriani very well. Sure, it was not as upbeat and recognizable as the TNT set but you can’t take away the fact that they do a great Satriani tribute. I recognized a few of the songs like “Surfing…” & “Satch Boogie” from over 20 years ago and I thought they were spot on. Also, the drummer for them this evening was Nikki McBurrain (Linda McDonald) from the Iron Maidens – just thought I’d share…
