CH3 play the Redwood Bar & Grill to benefit the Punk Rock Rovers team for the Pasadena Humane Society’s Wiggle Waggle Walk.
My gear for the night was:
• Camera: Canon 5D Mark III
• Flash: None
• Lenses: Canon 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye and Canon’s 24-70mm f/2.8.
ISO was high and the aperture settings low. Okay, here we go…
Fun little dive bar in the Los Angeles downtown area. Good food, strong drinks, and a nice dark setting (with really crappy stage lighting) that makes one feel like they are on an old galleon. This is a great bar so make sure you go check it out if in the area. It is located at:
316 W. 2nd St
Los Angeles, CA 90012
Reviews, comments, and possible putdowns for CH3…
CH3 started in 1980 and are still going strong today… The band was kind enough to donate their time and Saturday afternoon to play this benefit that helps the Punk Rock Rovers team raise some cash for the Pasadena Humane Society during the annual Wiggle Waggle Walk event.
The band tore though some old material and even snuck a couple of new ones in there for good measure – and they played some music as well! (insert rim shot here) Unfortunately, I had to leave mid-way through their set to drive 35 miles to photograph another band, but I’m sure that “I’ve got a Gun” was just around the corner from being played. A huge thanks to Mike, Kimm, Alf, and Anthony for coming out and having some fun. Cheers!
