Reviews, Comments & Other Putdowns for this event (by Ray)

  • Venue Review – The Glass House: Same ‘ol story with the Glass House, they won’t let you in with a “pro” camera so I took my Canon G9. The gig was lit almost exclusively with blue lights in front and backlit with bright whites so it was hard getting anything good from the back. I didn’t want to be one of those concert-goers who fights his way to the front so I opted to get grainy photos from the back. After seeing the photos I should have been one of those guys because the photos would have been a lot better without having to zoom in on every shot – oh well…

  • Band Reviews: THE DEAD WEATHER
We got into the venue minutes before The Dead Weather started because we were drinking next door with some friends. Dark, crowded, sweaty, a ton of people filming with their phones, pretty energetic, quite a few trendies (and by “trendies” I mean the trend-following douche nozzles who truly believe they have every right to annoy others with their pretentious and selfish attitudes), decent sound. There are a couple of great performances by The Dead Weather on YouTube from the Jimmy Kimmel Show – Check ‘em out and you will be an instant fan, if you are not already. Nuff said…
